You should focus on your first year studies of your college more than UPSC or mppsc preparation. Being a first year student, you should build up a strong base of knowledge in your stream. It will be helpful for your further preparation.

Since, it seems that you are a great aspirant and you have an ardent desire to crack upsc, I will suggest you something.

Start to build up basic knowledge. Start reading current affairs and take some interest in politics, laws and indian history too.

Learn about some geographic terrains of our country. Practice some logical reasoning questions and try to build up your confidence. Your confidence should be good enough to present yourself in the interviews. You should have vast general knowledge.

Keep studying!!!!

Work hard and you can achieve it!!!!
