GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery. GNM is a three and half years diploma in paramedics.

The course primarily intends to produce qualified and prepared general nurses, who can efficiently function as a part of the medical community for introductory level professions in the healing industry.

The program has been designed to empower eligible candidates to address the health requirements of the country, community and individuals.

They can also pursue Advanced Study and specialization in nursing while contributing to the health-based industry with patients responsibility and dedication.

In short, it deals with the education of nurses in general healthcare, Nursing and Midwifery.

GNM course can be continued after the successful accomplishment of the 10+2 level of education, in science stream with physics chemistry and biology, as main subjects from a recognized educational board with a minimum aggregate score of 40%.
