Since your profile says you are a medical aspirants, I am telling you for diploma courses in Medical.

The admission to diploma courses are taken on the basis of two criterias - direct and entrance exam based. Some colleges or universities, like Private colleges, take admission based on the marks in class 12th (Direct merit based Admission), while some government colleges take admission based on the marks or scores on the entrance exam based.
