Net salary in the hands of a deputy collector when appointed , after all deductions and increments is approx Rs 48,411- Rs 58,063.

Deputy Collector is a Group-A Gazetted officer under Revenue Department, Government of Mahatashtra, selected through State Services Examination conducted by MPSC. There is 1 increment of 3 % in basic salary on First July of each year.
