Dr. Sudhansu Bhattacharyya is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with 36+ years of experience. After completing his MBBS, he pursued MS in general surgery from Vadilal Sarabhai Hospital, Gujarat followed by M.Ch in Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery from G. S. Medical College, K.E.M Hospital, Mumbai.

He did a fellowship in Advanced Training Coronary Bypass Surgery from Mount Sinai Hospital, USA under Dr. Dudley Johnson. He is a fellow of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, Asian Society of Cardiovascular Surgeons and elected president of Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons.

He won Rastriya Sanman for being one of the highest taxpayers during the Assessment year 1994-95 to 1998-99, New Delhi. Also won Lifetime Achievement Award by Indian Association of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, Mumbai in 2013. And various other awards are on his name. All his glories made him one of the renowned surgeon of India.
