Hi,

The jossa counselling is conducted for admission to 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs)

The admission process of private engineering college is different. some conducts their own admission counselling while some take admission to state counselling. So before applying to a private engineering college you should check its admission procedure. As it varies from college to college.

Hi there,

Private colleges might conduct their own councelling or may be some other process for taking admissions.You should contact the private college for which you are concerned, also some private colleges give admission through state councelling.So it's better to contact the college and ask their process of admission. In JoSaa councelling only IITs,NITs,IIITs and GFTIs give admission.
