see as for the most of the research organization requirements, candidates having phd or doctoral degrees get higher priority for the position of scientist role, after completing bachelor in physiotherapy you need to go for master in  medical physiology/anatomy/ biotechnology/ bio physics etc. then you need to enroll for phd or you may join as a research scholar to remain your research work in this domain. after completing  phd program you may join in research organization if recruitment comes or you may join institute as a lecturer. rather than india abroad country has more options is researcher position.

To become scientists after bpt. You need to acquire your basic lab skills and knowledge of research methodology through the post graduate program.

After that you have to continue your research by enrolling your self into the phd program then after practicing for few years you can become a scientist.
