If you are preparing for JEE 2017 you need to follow few things and maintain it till the last bell of JEE exam rings (i.e. The day of exam). Be Patient and Hardworking Study regularly- This is hard to digest but yeah you need to study everyday. Hours? What are they! Doesn't matter how much time you give, what matters is how effective was that time. Smart work is all you need to do. Sometimes it will be few minutes and sometimes a whole day, but everyday must count to your prepration. Take breaks. They are necessary too. Like after studying whole week give yourself a movie break. Sleep atleast 6 hours. Now that's something you'll like ;). If you don't sleep well your performance is affected for next 2-3 days (fact). So to maintain a healthy mind do sleep well. Take a complete note of your syllabus and never try to jump out of it. It is painful and time consuming Decide the books to study. Don't try to use too many books it will reduce your output and efficiency. In my opinion your primary books should be N.C.E.R.Ts. Then you can consider few books if required (in most cases you'll need references.) Practice alot. Never run from questions. Last is revision. It is very important as this is the only thing that will give you immense confidence. You should revise your class notes as soon as you reach home. Monthly revision should also be done. You need give atleast 2 revision to the whole course before exam.
