On every SMS or e-mail notifications, there is an option available to unsubscribe. Try doing that.

Whenever you are receiving an e-mail, you will get an option below, to unsubscribe directed to a link. Click on that to confirm your choice and then you will be unsubscribed.

However keeping a track of what's happening around is always good, even when we need it or not at that particular moment.
