Different kind of organisms obtain their food in different ways.  Nutrition is io two type : Autotrophic animals make their own food by using sunlight or heterotrophic they depend on other for their survival.

Organisms are of 2 types autotrophic and heterotrophic. Autotrophic organisms don't obtain nutrients, instead they make there own food. They use a process called photosynthesis for making there food. Like plants

Heterotrophic organism obtain nutrients from the bodies of other organisms. Like animals, they eat another animals for there food
