Hello,

  • Scoring 300+ marks out of 360 in JEE Main is very challenging, but also, once you grab it, you get the opportunity to enter into the top-most NITs. However, it requires hard work and full-time devotion towards your studies. While preparing yourself for JEE Main, keep in mind that there are certain topics which are asked frequently in JEE Main but not in JEE-Advanced. So dont forget to cover those topics.

  • Tips to score 300+ in JEE Main 2018:

  • Have good command over your NCERT book and develop concepts. Be thorough with its contents

  • NCERT is sufficient for your chemistry part. By heart every reactions of chemistry as they are asked directly and many student loose marks in that. It is a scoring subject, learn it hard and try to score 110+ , you can easily grab it. Just work for it.

  • Understand concepts of physics through NCERT, S L ARORA, PRADEEP etc. whatever you prefer, and then go for H C VERMA. This book is best for developing concept and for solving tricky and new numerical. Give more time for this subject, and put all your efforts. This subject requires hard work as well as more practice for scoring 100+.

  • For maths, formula should be on the tip of your tongue. Practice to such an extent that you avoid making calculation mistakes. Questions are easy and you can easily approach the toughest of the problem. Practice maths on daily basis and solve new/tricky question each day.

  • Final and the most important suggestion. Practice previous year papers and go for mock test (either online or offline). Try to do this task daily, this will help you to analyse your mistakes and improve it. Also, practicing 3 hours paper daily will help you to become more efficient and effective. By this, you will learn how to manage time and how much time you need to devote for each question or each subject. 90 questions are asked, learn to manage your time to complete the paper in 3 hours. Develop this habit of analysing yourself on daily basis, and making yourself better with each passing days.

    • The most important point is to solve as many questions you get because there is  very high probability that they do hange the values but the questions remain same. Solve all the quizzes and Mocks and also asks other aspirants so that you can atleast see that where you stand in between all the aspirant going to appear for JEE  Main.
