Various government undertaking companies like ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation recruit BTech graduates as Graduate Engineer Trainees. The graduates are recruited for areas like drilling, production, testing and other areas. To get placed into this companies one has to give the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination and see the cutoff set by the companies and apply for the posts accordingly.
