Thapar has a large number of hostels. As the number of seats are increasing, so are the number of hostels increasing. Basically, one can easily get a hostel in Thapar. First year students usually get three-seater without AC rooms. There are different hostels for each year students. If one can get reference, one could get a AC room in first year itself.
