Hello Vani..

Thanks for contacting Careers360..

CLAT is neither a very difficult exam nor its a cake walk. I used to read a lot which in turn helped with my static GK. I subscribed to CSR, Pratiyogita Darpan and Current Affairs Today to keep my self updated as Current GK can form as much as 50% of the total General Knowledge Section. General Knowledge plays a very important factor as you can only answer a question if you're sure about the answer. It's simple with GK : either you know or you don't know. Having vast knowledge about multiple fields can change your result drastically. Fortunately, I used to quiz a lot in school which in turn helped me somehow with GK.

For English, I referred to LST modules and Newspapers. Solve model papers which are published every month in the above stated magazines. Solve each one of them, no matter it's of PO/SSC/CDO whatsoever. More you practise, more you'll be acquainted how to answer. Maths is a cakewalk. Just try to solve 20 questions in say 5-8 mins. That'll be more than enough.

For Logical, I solved whole of RS Agarwal. Best and essential Book. Period.

For Legal reasoning, I only referred to LST modules. They're more than enough.

Do as many as mock you can. Yes, they are very very important. CLAT is about time. Roughly, you've 36 secs for a question. So write as many as mocks you can. And And And, solve them in a time limit. I solved questions from CAT books too. It really helps with English and Logical reasoning.

Keep Calm and solve as much as you can. CLAT is not that difficult but to get into NLS/NALSAR/NUJS (Tier 1) you've to be among top 200. Selection ratio for NUJS = 0.001 (Assuming you're from general category). So study hard, accumulate as much as you can and you'll come out with shining colors.
