Hi Nilesh, Here you have to understand and answer yourself - - you want to pursue MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Bsc NURSING, BPT,.. etc... Secondly to pursue these courses you have to give NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER etc.... TO BE ELIGIBLE for this entrance

1. For NEET

The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination must be minimum 40% instead of 50% for General candidates. Further, for persons for locomotor disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.

2. Maximum of three attempts can be given

If you are sure that you want to pursue graduation again.. By giving 5 & 1/2 years for these course.. And then further do post graduation 3 yrs...

Make sure you want it.. So that you will invest ypur time, money, your own age... Hopefully it helps.. Best of luck

Namaskar Nilesh. Thank you for asking the question. We at Career 360 will help you to solve queries as possible. The medical entrance tests are the only doors leading to the path of a medical education in India. And the criteria for the entrance exam includes atleast 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in the Board Exams. Ergo, you have to have cracked these in order to apply for the entrance, crack the entrance and then pursue medical education. Live Long and Prosper.

You have to crack the NEET like every medical aspirant. And you should have passed Physics Chemistry Biology and English as your subjects in 12th

The procedure to start medical preparation remains same irrespective of what age or field you are from.

So yeah buddy take your 11and 12 std books and start reviewing all concepts again.

My personal advice would be to also join a couching institute. They give you an idea about recent pattern of mcq questions.

All the best!

Hey, i have seen many answers which were negative or overtly optimistic. Ill try to give u a neutral answer.

1st of all the upper age to give neet is 35 when i last checked it, so yes u can give neet and get into a medical college. However getting into a medical college through merit is not an easy task and takes a lot of preparation. Be sure u are ready for it. You are expected to have atleast 80% as an average score in your 12th board. U need to revise 11th and 12th again and regaining concepts after you have been away from them isnt going to be easy.

While the entrance exams is one of the most difficult task it is the easiest thing ull have to do in terms of getting admission.

U need atleast 95 percentile u be very sure of getting admission as there may be many who are in between each percent of percentile. Once you get admission the 1st year is very difficult and a few even leave within a few days.

You myt one of the oldest in your batch and may face hostility. Ull have to study on an average 6 hours after spending 8-10 hrs in college. By the time you finish your MBBS rural posting will become mandatory and ull have to work in an infrastructure deficient environment.

While a doctors job is one the most satisfying one and has many perks, the bad side to it is that it is becoming a thankless job with no personal time and u may have to face violence.

You need highest level of motivation at every step as you start your journey towards becoming a good doctor and the journey never ends. Make sure u know this and other risks before you decide your career.

Id like to wish u all the best in whatever u choose to do

Yes! Why not? You only live once, if you're passionate about it then might as well go throught it.

You need to clear the entrance exams, but prior to that you need to have studied Biology in 11th and 12th grade.

If you have done MBPC,i.e math, biology, physics and ,chemistry. The only thing left between you and your dream to pursue medicine is the entrance exam. Or you can even buy a seat.

Don't let the opinions of others break your dreams, if you're willing to work for it and put in the years then you might as well go for it.

I have know people living in UK, who finished their Law, weren't satisfied and went on to pursue MBBS( medicine).

Your career will stick to you, you're still in the initial stages, if you wish to change it, go for it!

Goodluck!

Hope this helps.

Hello,
To be eligible for any medical course, you have to have at least 50% (60% in some colleges) in biology, physics and chemistry in 10+2 exams.
You can continue in the engineering field but if you do have passion to do medicine or any other medical course, you can retake the 10+2 exams and clear all the compulsory subjects related to medicine.
Wishing you all the best!

The best option you have after doing diploma is to join engineering. If you had to do Medical you have to take biology in your 11th and 12th
