Hello Simran,

In India we use British English in our education system. So if you have studied in India it means every English subject you have taken in your entire student life has been British English. This is great for IELTS, as you have not gotten US English into the mix. For the IELTS exam preparation, you can either attend classes for the same or if you are on an intermediate level you can also refer YouTube content online. However I do not recommend this for a beginner as you will be practicing your spoken English alone at the comfort of your own home in this case. When you are giving the exam in front of a panel of experts it is expected that you mess up a little, attending classes with interactive sessions could help you better with confidence and spoken abilities. Hope this helps and Good luck.
