Read books like India after gandhi by ramchandra guha, globalization of world politics by baylis n smith, india foreign policy n indian economy. Also refer to some good magazines like Frontline, epw etc.. u can get books on international relations from mukherjee ngr also. U can read abt various topics on internet also like mint, bbc etc..
