Certification is just like any other certificate. But at the end of the day, you should be able to demonstrate what you put in. There is no point in getting a certificate on which you cannot talk about because if you are putting it in your resume you should have the ability to demonstrate it also. At the same time without a certificate also you can learn it as a passion and put it as a skill.

Certification is just an organised blessing that you know it but at the end of the day you should be able to prove it.

Learning new stuffs and doing certification courses apart from degree not only improves your skill-set but also adds a lot of weightage to your CV and gives an impression that the candidate is a learner and curious and the certifications also demonstrate that you have done the course diligently and have acquired knowledge in that prospect.
