Academic wise, BCA at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a good choice, at Mysore Campus. The University Campus has strong faculty, curriculum and computational and laboratory facilities. The Job prospects though seem bleak. You have Deloitte, Infosys and couple of other MNCs and few Local IT/Computer/FinTech Firms recruiting students, with many going on to pursue MCA.

However, you should even pursue MCA from some of the Good NITs or Top Central Universities after BCA, for better career scope and prospects in the IT, Software and Services sector.
