Of the various extra-curricular clubs in RIT, the most active ones  are :

• NSS(National Service Scheme) : The most active club, with various events happening throughout the year including Blood donation camp, Orphanage visits, Summer camp, etc etc.
• Drama Clubs : The drama clubs are also active thru out the year. Many teams have won accolades in inter-college events and fests. Apart from that RIT has its own annual drama event, Shoutout exclusively meant for skits, short films and documentaries.
• DebSoc : Debate society. Another active club of RIT. Has brought many laurels home.
• Chess : There are annual intra-college chess touramnets conducted (may be few). But these people have won many other tournaments.
• Dance : I haven't heard of any dancing society in RIT. However there are many extraordinary dance groups which has performed and won several competitions. All form of dance groups from Hip-hop to Bollywood to classical are there.
• Nature club : One of the various clubs of RIT. They go for trekking.
• Others are also there however I am not much aware of those.
