Batch of 2017 | B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering
The college infrastructure is great looking and well designed which has well-ventilated classes with projector boards and a whiteboard. Labs are well maintained and kept cleanly especially a Computer lab which is equipped with all the modern systems. A big play ground is available to play sports.the best parts in the college is the faculty team. They are highly supportive and they are ready to clear all doubts. The college placements are yet to be done as it started in 2013

I am a computer science student at MSRIT. My department is pretty cool. I have listed down reasons for it: Placements: Almost all of the students get placed pretty well (>95%). More than 75% of them get into cool companies with great job titles, with salary packages going upto 19 lakhs/annum. The median is however 5-6 lakhs. Academics: At least till the end of third year almost whole of the syllabus is covered (well, there are always exceptions). You study well (i.e study for atleast 3-4 hrs for internals and 7-10 hours for externals) you will end up with a decent GPA. Fests: There are two main fests in the college, Udbhav and Rajyotsav. Cool events and a lot of competitions are held. There is a separate technical fest by the IEEE society and an entrepreneurship week by the e-cell. Apart from these most of the departments host their own fests. Clubs: There are a lot of clubs and groups in college ranging in a variety of areas. From the IEEE society to the dance groups, these are a lot of fun. Google student club, VRGLinung- Linux users group- MSRIT, CodeMSRIT, Dance clubs- FTN, Invincibles, Lasya, BlackIllusion etc, Nature clube, Gender and Equality forum, DebSoc - MSRIT debate society, to pen a few. Location : The college is located in the heart of the city, with direct buses to half the city. It is 9 kms from the majestic bus-stop and railway station and 5 kms from the yashwanthpur railway station. The adjoining New Bel road has eateries like McD, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Chung Wah, Beiging Bites, Baskin Robins, Polar Bear,Dunking Doughnuts to local stuff like gol gappas, dosas, idlis, momoes etc. Hope it helped!

When I came to this college I was like, where have I taken admission and maybe this is a wrong decision. But as I have spent a semester here I suppose I am forced to change my thoughts about the college. here the profs are like your friends and are willing to go any lengths to help you out. I have to say I have learnt a lot in a semester than I have over the two years . also there are guest lectures from renowned personalities some from the isro and iisc !! there is great industry exposure. the strength of this college is the labs, I have to say the labs are state of the art facilities . to put this is in perspective, our university has a supersonic wind tunnel that is there only in iisc other than our college in India. There is good diversity and people from all walks of life come here . the student faculty ratio in 8:1 which is impressive. the management is supportive too, they have a good system where the students can directly reach out the management and speak their problems to them. the classes have a sporting and competitive environment. not to forget the university has a 1gbps connection. The sports facilities are disappointing though , but the situation is improving. also the attendance criteria is too high which stands at 85%. to end I would have to say that one can reach new pinnacles and the university provides umpteen opportunities to grow.

A College Imparting True Education

Writing this review, I will say that the college at first doesn't appeal much to you. Since the college is new, it doesn't have that much of good infrastructure. If you are in search of a college for fun, then seriously this is not a place for you to study in. The classes are widespaced and the faculty is co- operating. When it comes to sports, you should not have much expectations. But when you need to study, this should be heaven for you. They not only take exams but also give you real life based assignments that really improves your knowledge. Coming to college life, you will find students not only from Karnataka but from the whole country. Overall it's a tough decision to chose this college, since you really need to work hard in this college.. Mark my words ' Here getting 60%' is a dream come true, cause it's never easy to score the marks here

MSRIT is one of the best private colleges in India with the best infrastructure, encouraging faculty, college bus facility, extra co-curricular activities to make students learn how to manage things in a better way and leadership skill. certificates were given in order to congratulate the merit students. Many events are organized in a well and disciplined way.

My college is considered as one of the oldest college in the city so its infrastructure gives a vision of some old church of the town with lots of history generating from every pillar.our library gives an excellent environment for the student to study and gain knowledge.the food in canteen providing both the tastes north as well south indian.,which is an important factor for students outside the city.other facilities like camping ,sports etc. Are also taken seriously in our campus and students both boys and girls are encouraged to take active part in these.at last I would like to end up with that it is a complete package for me.
