Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) came into existence and started batches only from 2015. The curriculum of DSU is different from that of VTU. With various changes ranging from the marking schemes to subjects. Programming languages like Java and Python are now a part of the BE CSE curriculum in the early semesters, in the 3rd and 4th semesters respectively.

There are various initiatives at DSCE, a few to mention are some research labs and regular hackathons to develop an active student developer community. The placements have been good for the CS department mainly because of the demand for CS engineers. Also, there are a lot of opportunities presented to students to excel under various faculty members to pursue research interests and higher studies.

All in all, CS at DSCE is a good program and once into the program, it's upto the students to be smart and garner the skills required to crack their dream careers!
