RIMS is a MCI recognised institution of the country and is a government college. But, I would suggest you to explore your options. 

If you can get admission elsewhere, then go for it, weighing the pros and cons of both places. I will tell you the pros and cons of RIMS. 

Pros :

1. Govt. college recognised by MCI. 

Cons :

1. The quality of education is very sub standard as compared to other government medical colleges of our country.

2. The work environment is very toxic there. Juniors are made to do all the work. And you will constantly be judged based on your class, caste, status etc.

So judge for yourself, whether you want to go here and weigh all the options before choosing.
