the current sceneriao for civil engineering in techno salt lake is just fine and the placements records there too is not that great....

so overall the situation at TISL is not that well if you are considering any option for future.

I have lesser idea about a particular course but overall online the College seems fine with an average of 3.6/5 overall. Seems. Good. So probably you can expect the civil engineering department to work better by seeing all the reviews online the College seems to have good infrastructure and a decent placements as well probably in IT Department.

Dear Koushik, you will be satisfied with the faculty and placement of the college.

Placements:Placements are better than any other colleges in Kolkata after IEM. The placement rate will be increased in the upcoming years. The core branches are facing serious issues regarding placements these days. But the placements for the rest of the branches are very good. Almost 90% of the students get placed from college. TCS is the major recruiter of the college. Even other reputed companies also visit the campus for placements

Infrastructure:The college doesn't provide any hostel facility. There is a single ground in which all the events and tournaments are organised. The labs are good and regular maintenance takes place. The main building is still under the construction as they are looking to increase the number of floors.

Faculty : The faculty members are quite good in every department. Some of them are IIT graduates and have good in-depth knowledge. They generally prefer English and Bengali language to teach, but you can ask the doubts in Hindi too. They are very frank and cooperative with the students. The teaching quality is also satisfactory.
