Hey aspirant, I hope you are doing good. The hostel food for many hostels is good in taste, have protein, folic acid in them. Mostly hostel have specific menu for whole week, they have breakfast , lunch, dinner, tea time snacks also available in some hostels and it also depends upon your taste as some students want simple food and some want crispy so everyone  has different aspects towards taste.
