Among others these are few which offer job opportunities for Geologist with good packages. Defense and other Para- military forces are recruiting Geologist for various purposes.

As you will be knowing that the scope of this field is widening because of the growing environmental concerns triggered by pollution and other related issues.

Placements:

A person starting fresh in this field gets paid somewhere between Rs. 10,000 to 20,000 per month which is tend to increase with time and experience.(depends upon companies)

You will also get a chance to work in government sectors like ONGC, IOC etc. (It depends upon students) you can salary of Rs 25,000 to 35,000 per month along with other benefits and facilities.
