Every year ,thousands of student take  a second drop for JEE preparation, but there’s no exact number officially given. It’s estimated that around 5–10% of repeaters go for a second attempt after already dropping once. These students usually take the second drop because they didn’t get their desired branch or college, or they believe they can improve with another year of focused study. While it's not very common, it's also not rare. Success in the second drop depends on strong motivation, smart study plans, and learning from past mistakes. Many do succeed, but it also comes with pressure and risks.
