It's difficult to find out the state wise data for the number of candidates appearing/appeared in a nationwide exam. In CLAT 2018, around 50,000 students applied for the exam but a significant number of students couldn't appear for the exam so it's safe to assume, that in this year also, more than 50,000 aspirants are expected to fill the application form and the competition will be very tough.
