hello candidate
you are allowed for three attempts in jee mains and two attempt in jee advanced.
from this year onwards jee main is conducted by nta (national testing agency) twice a year i.e in january and in april(till further orders).
so overall you can give jee mains for three years in continuation including your 12th year and jee advance for two years including 12th year
all the best
Hello,Sayi
If you're curious to know how many attempts for JEE Advanced can be availed, then the answer is Maximum 2 Attempts and that too in the consecutive years only. Like, if you have appeared in 2018 Exam for the 1st time, then only in 2019 you can avail your remaining JEE Advanced attempts.
According to NTA, a student can attempt JEE Main exam twice in a particular academic session. However, as per eligibility criteria & the age for appearing in JEE Mains 2019, a candidate can appear in the JEE Exam for 3 consecutive years.
Hope this helps.
