Hope you are doing well. B. Pharma is an interesting course to pursue after your school education. There are five main branches of B. Pharma.

PHARMACEUTICS: Deals with bulk production of medicines, Industrial and regulatory aspects, Formulation development, Pharmaceutical engineering aspects etc.

PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY: Deals with Drug discovery, drug designing, Industrial synthesis of drug compounds, isolation and purification of natural bioactive compounds etc.

PHARMACOLOGY: Deals with the therapeutics of drug action, toxicity studies, drug interaction studies, clinical trial of new drugs, animal testings etc.

PHARMACOGNOSY: Deals with Natural chemistry, alternate systems of medicine i.e AYUSH, Isolation and characterization of natural crude drugs etc.

PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS: This subject has its necessity in all the above subjects. It includes quality control, quality assurance, analytical method development for the analysis of both synthetic and natural drugs, analysis of different formulations, analysis of packaging material etc.
