Hi,sampath. As you have asked for total number of candidates that appeared for jee main in 2010,here is your answer. Totally 11.2 lakh students registered  for AIEEE(JEE main) in 2010 and among them 10.7 lakh students given their exam. According to the statistics it was actually increased when compared to previous years i.e 2008 and 2009.
