Hello,

On monochlorination of 2 - methylbutane, total four isomers are produced:

1. 2-chloro-2-methylbutane
2. 2-chloro-3-methylbutane
3. 1-chloro-2-methylbutane
4. 2-chloro-3-methylbutane

Out of the above produced isomers, 1 - chloro-2-methylbutane and 2-chloro-3-methylbutane are the chiral compounds and rest are the achiral compounds.

So, total 2 chiral compounds are produced.

Best Wishes.
