Students interested in the performing or visual arts may choose to enter into a fine arts program. It is an attractive Bachelor's course (bachelor's of fine art). The programs offered can vary quite a bit, and the different concentrations include photography, painting, sculpture, theater, voice and dance.

All candidates who have cleared Standard XII in any stream from a recognised board meet Bachelor of Fine Arts eligibility criteria. Although there is usually no other set criteria but some universities/ colleges may also demand a minimum percentage (usually 50 – 60%) that candidates need to secure in Class 12 ^th to get admission in BFA course.

Apart from this, preference at the time of admission is sometimes given to candidates who have studied Arts/ Humanities in Class 12 ^th and have some basic knowledge of the Fine Arts subject which they are looking to pursue.
