Last year the cutoff was 81 with the bonus of 4 marks , if we expect 30% students got benefit from +4 as other students may have already written the answer correctly than the original cutoff of 2017 lies somewhere between 77-79 but not 81 ,

This year story is quite different as 2 lakh less students are giving the examination alomg with no mistakes hence no bonus this time .

Secondly CBSE has increased number of qualifying candidates to 2.5 lakhs around 22.7% of all students i.e. 7% More than last year

And last but not the least paper was not tough but indeed time consuming and tricky . Hence I expect the cutoff should somewhere lie between 66-75 ,but not more than 80.
