Consortium of medical engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka under graduate entrance test is the name of the exam also commonly known as COMEDK UGET.

This is a State Level Examination for or admitting students in undergraduate courses. The total number of participating colleges are around 190 engineering colleges and every year more than 2 lakh students apply for this exam.

The number of seats available are are over than 20000 seats and usually application form of this exam circulates in the month of March and the last date to submit the application form is starting of August and the exam usually conducted in the month of September-October.

COMEDK Seat Intakewill be available on the official website (comedk.org) along with students participation in UGET COMEDK.

On the basis of merit and choice or preference.The allotment of seats will be done online.

The seat allotment in COMEDK is a part of the counselling procedure.

There is no reservation based on cast in comedk uget. From other states as COMEDK is exclusively for Non-Kannadigas, preference is given to students.

At the undergraduate level in Karnataka there are a total number of 64,557 engineering seats available in the year 2020 . 266 out of 341 engineering colleges in Karnataka are  fully private colleges/university.
