I assume you mean the number of attempts when you say "number of tests." The JEE Main 2021 exam will be held four times: in February, March, April, and May. As a result, you can take the exam four times a year. From the year you passed the 12th Board Exam, you can take the exam three times in a row!

By number of exams, I guess you mean the number of attempts! JEE Main 2021 will be conducted four times that is on February, March, April and May. So you can attend the exam 4 times in a year. You can attempt the exam for 3 consecutive years from the year of you passing 12th Board Exam!

In 2021 JEE Main will be conducted 4 times. In the month of February, march, april and may and a candidate can appear for all the four sessions this year. So, in this year you can give JEE Main 4 times. The best score obtained by the candidates in all of his attempts will be considered for the his final rank of JEE Main 2021. Also, as per the rules of NTA, a candidate can appear for JEE main consecutively three years after completing 12th standard or equivalent class.
