States and UTs have increased the number of students who qualified for stage 2 this year since NCERT has increased the number of NTSE scholarships from 1000 to 2000. After removing the reservation of 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 27% for OBC and 4% for group of students with benchmark disabilities, total 930 seats will be left for general category students.
