NTSE is conducted in 2 stages. 1st stage is conducted by the state/UT goverment and the 2nd stage is conducted by the NTSE board. To qualify to the next stage the qualifying percentage is 40% (general) and cut-off mark is laid by the state goverment and it is different for each state.
