Hello,
There are various government agencies which conduct examinations for government jobs such as:

UPSC: It conducts exams such as Civil Service Examination, Engineering Service Examination, Combined Defense Services Exam, National Defence Academy Exam etc
Service Selection Staff: It conducts exams such as Common Graduation Level Exam, Common Higher Secondary Level Exam, Stenograph exam.
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection: It conducts exams for recruitment to various private and government banks on all posts.
Other institutions such National Testing Agency also conducts various examinations.
