In 2019, government has approved for increment of 2615 total mbbs seats in various states ( Andhra pradesh, Gujrat, MP,  Odhisa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttrakhand,  West bengal, Manipur and karnataka. )
