Dear Harshita, there are a total of 30,455 seats in 216 govt medical colleges in India. As per the data of government MBBS seats through NEET 2019, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra are the states which have the maximum number of MBBS seats in their government medical colleges.

Mbbs seats in government coleges are divided into two quotas - AIQ and state quota.And different states have different number of govt. Seats . The total no. Of mbbs seats in govt.
