There are two IITs in uttar Pradesh named IIT kanpur and IIT Varanasi . There is one nit in uttar Pradesh named MNNIT Allahabad, UP and there are two  IIITs in uttar Pradesh named as iiit Allahabad and iiit Lucknow. iiit Lucknow is new iiit established in 2010 and have temporary campus.
