Hello Vaibhav ,thanks for asking this question on this platform.now in mains your rank will be decided on basis of your score and what will be the cutoff in that year .then upon your rank you will get any college .now for getting any IIT or NIT you must have to clear cutoff and should have a very good All India rank for getting your favourite college .and other govt College will give you admission depending upon your category and other quotas.thanks I hope this will help you .
