Hii

The admission is based on the cutoff score of the entrance exam JEE Mains. The cutoff varies every year based on many factors like-

  • Cutoff trends of previous years
  • Number of applicants
  • Difficulty level of the examination
  • Number of seats on offer
  • Applications received for admission

This year cutoffs would be available only after the declaration of result of JEE Mains.
Also for different NITs the cutoff will be different based on number of seats available etc. Also cutoff will vary according to the brach and category.
In general, i can suggest that you must score higher than 150 in Jee Mains. You can check previous year cutoff trends to get an idea about how it goes.
Refer to the following link to know about the cutoffs of top NITs.

Hello Dear

It will vary on various factors like on your category / branch wise / premises wise but yaah overall you can think like if you are from General Category you must have the atleast score of 150+ marks in the JEE mains entrance exam and if you are from reserved category then it will be around 100+ in the JEE mains. But anyways below the link is given through which you can able to check the further details.
