Hii,According to your Query i am here to help you. There are only 15% govt college seats allowed through ICAR exam. Cutoff seems to increase with each passing year and growing popularity of the course. But for genral category 60%marks will assure to get a good college all over india.

Though ICAR does not provide a marks vs. rank statistics nor does it release the marks of the students in its results, nor does it allow students to take the offline paper home so I can't give an exact value of the cutoff score. I think you should aim for something above 100 as the competition is quite stiff. A rank within 2000 will guarantee you a seat in the first counseling itself.

Hope,this information helpful for you.Goodluck.
