May be 100or105 is required for jee main cut off mark.and then they are eligible for jee adv.

JEE Main cut off marks give detail about the minimum marks that is required by the student to secure in order to appear for next level i,e JEE Advanced.

JEE Main cutoff for General category in 2016 was 100, while 70 was the cutoff score for OBC-NCL, 52 for SC and 48 for ST.

As per the trends, JEE Main cutoff in the last 3 years has been lowering. JEE Main cutoff for general category was 115 in 2014, whereas in 2015 it had plunged to 105 and in 2016, JEE Main cutoff for general category dropped to 100.
