The most reknowned national level exam for getting admissions in bsc agriculture colleges which are mostly government colleges is ICAR AIEEA. It is mostly conducted every year in the month of June/ July. It will be held next on 1 June 2020 as per the current news. For getting free seats you should know the overall cut-offs.This exam is usually easy as compared to neet but you get 60 questions each from biology/ agriculture, chemistry and physics. You get 2 and a half hour to answer the exam and it is computer based exam. You get 4 marks for each correct answer.  For UG courses, general category candidates must have atleast 50% marks in 12th, obc and st/sc category students should have 40% marks in class 12th boards. As per my experience, if u get 400+/ 720 in the exam,  you will get government colleges easily and they are affordable. So, focus on your studies and goal and do well in the exam. You can study in the same way people study for neet and crack the exam easily.
