u have to score atleast 200 to get safely in 10000

To secure a rank under 10000 in Common Rank List in JEE Mains, you need to score atleast 180 marks out of 360 to lie into safer hands. But it may subject to change every year on the basis of cutoff trends.

Note that JEE Mains authorities never release the "rank vs marks" data. They just release the ranks of the students.

Also, one more thing. The rank if the students hugely depends on the marks if the toppers. One year, the top mark is 360, the next year it is 340, and so on. So, this keeps fluctuating.

If you want to get a rank less than 10000, then as a big brother, I would advice you to score more than 200. You know how difficult it is to score so much when there are only 15 days left for the exam.
