A person belonging to General or OBC category should score 40 marks out of 160. This is the passing marks, one should score to qualify for the exam. For SC/ST there is no minimum qualifying marks. A very good score of EAMCET is above 150 then above 120 and then the average score will be above 70. A good rank is between 1 -5000.
