How many marks should I get in the Telangana State Board of Intermediate examination in 12th class so that I can beeligible for getting into NIT or IIT?
Answer (1)
Hello Aspirant,
You have to get 75% aggregate in inter 2nd year exams.
JoSAA considers inter 2nd year marks ONLY for boards having (10+2) system.
(10+2) systems means boards having inter 1st year and inter 2nd year exams(example-telangana,AP etc) unlike CBSE system which has only 12th(inter 2nd year) exams.
But in the marks memo of (10+2) system boards they give combined marks of inter 1st year and 2nd year.
But JoSAA considers only inter 2nd year marks.
So, a student of any board has to get 75% aggregate in 12th class(inter 2nd year) to satisfy eligibility criteria of colleges under JoSAA.
All The Best.
